SUBSTANCE: invention relates to agriculture. Method involves treating plants with a growth regulator in form of a solution of triethylammonium salt of tosylmethacrylic acid in concentration of 1 ml per 10 l of water and salicylic acid 1750 mg per 10 l of water with the help of dispersion sprayers in spring during extension of flower stems from 3–8 cm for protection of flowers against return frosts and in autumn for protection of plants from low temperatures during winter period.
EFFECT: method increases winter hardiness.
