SUBSTANCE: method comprises determining the air amount in each air chamber (6) and determining the exhaust gas components in large chimney (7); calculation of the effective air fraction in each air chamber (6) defined in accordance with the exhaust gas components. Also an effective air amount in each air chamber (6) is calculated and the vertical speed of the material layer sintering in the position of each air chamber (6) is determined. The sintering process end point is determined taking into account the trolley speed, air chamber (6) length and the vertical sintering speed. In this method, analysis of the air amount and exhaust gas components during material sintering can accurately predict the air chamber position where the agglomerate layer thickness is equal to the material layer thickness.
EFFECT: improved accuracy of determining the end point of the sintering process on the assembly line.
