SUBSTANCE: invention relates to novel compounds, which can be used as ligands for complex formation with ions of f-elements in fluorescence analysis and extraction separation of ions of rare-earth elements of general formula:

where R = 3-sulphophenyl or tert-butyl, A = 2,6-pyridyl or 2,2'-bipyridyl-6.6'-diiyl or 1,10-phenanthroline-2,9-diiyl. Invention discloses effective methods of producing said compound, including treatment of bis(diphenylphosphinyl) pyridine derivatives or 2.2'-bipyridyl, or 1,10-phenanthroline with 40-65% oleum solution in sulphuric acid at temperature 50–80 °C or treatment of tert-butylphenylphosphine chloride with sodium metal, with subsequent addition of hetaryl halides – 2,6-dibromopyridine or 6,6'-dichloro-2,2'-bipyridine or 2,9-dichloro-1,10-phenanthroline, with subsequent oxidation of obtained product.

EFFECT: novel compounds capable of forming complexes with a f-elements and novel effective methods for production thereof are disclosed.
