SUBSTANCE: according to the invention, the starting material, which is a mixture of water-soluble phenol-formaldehyde resin, carbohydrate and graphene nanoplate, is heat treated at a temperature of up to 300°C. Dextrin, or carboxymethylcellulose, or starch is used as a carbohydrate. The heat-treated product is ground, mixed with potassium hydroxide, activated at a temperature of 750°C. The carbon product is washed with alkali, dried, ground, rinsed with water and dried.
EFFECT: obtaining a mesoporous carbon material with a high specific surface area.
