FIELD: physics.

SUBSTANCE: piezo element is electrically connected to the ultrasonic generator operating at a resonance frequency of the piezoelectric cell. Herewith the piezo element performs fluctuations of axial thickness. Only one side of the piezo element has the acoustic contact with the fluid. The modulator circuit is assembled by allowing to change the amplitude of the ultrasonic generator output voltage with a predetermined frequency and form. Non-linear acoustic oscillations are produced in the standing medium by creating ultrasonic oscillations therein with an intensity of more than 1 W/sq.cm. Linear acoustic oscillations are formed by amplitude modulating the ultrasonic oscillations used.

EFFECT: expanding the frequency range of operating frequencies, providing operating opportunities in stagnant fluid without causing its movement.
