FIELD: acoustics.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to acoustics, in particular to electro-acoustic transducers. Electroacoustic transducer with damping of the radiating membrane contains a housing with holes for the output of acoustic vibrations, inside which a radiating membrane with piezoelectric elements, connected conductors with a generator of electrical oscillations, is fixed around the periphery. Mutual arrangement of several piezoelectric elements from one or both sides on the radiating membrane fixed around the periphery on the elastic attachment is produced in such a way that the mechanical oscillations interact with each other. At low frequencies, the transducer is configured to in-phase addition of wavelengths and with the possibility of maximizing the amplitudes of oscillations in the radiating membrane, at medium frequencies, the transducer is configured to interact with the wavelengths between themselves with a phase shift and with the possibility of equalizing the amplitude-frequency characteristic due to the effect of phase damping of mechanical vibrations in the membrane, at high frequencies, the transducer is configured to interact with each other in antiphase with the possibility of preventing the occurrence of spurious resonant oscillations, as well as the possibility of reducing the nonlinear distortions.
