SUBSTANCE: invention refers to vehicle communication means, particularly to remote communication with the vehicle. The technical result is achieved due to the fact that the system for vehicle monitoring and/or control comprises the means of communication, which have the first mode when the vehicle is capable of receiving control messages from a web server or web portal, and the rest mode, when means of communication are not able to receive control messages from a web server or a web portal, where the web portal or web server is adapted to receive the control message "vacation" from a mobile communication device, wherein the said control message "vacation" indicates that the user desires to establish communication in idle mode for a user-defined period of time, the web server or web portal is also adapted to transmit the control message "turn off" to the specified means of communication, where after the control meassage "turn off" is received by these means of communicatio, the system is capable of setting these means to the rest mode for a user-defined period of time.
EFFECT: invention provides remote monitoring and/or control of the vehicle state.
