SUBSTANCE: invention relates to computer engineering and specifically to means of protecting user identification data when accessing a third-party website. The method comprises: receiving a digital identification certificate for the third-party website; receiving an agreement on terms of use of the multifactor authentication service for the third-party website; allowing the third-party website to use the service without further human intervention in the third-party website; using the portal of the developer which is configured to: provide the application program interface key to the developer of the third-party website; provide a shared secret key to the developer of the third-party website; provide terms of use of the multifactor authentication service for the third-party website.
EFFECT: controlling a multifactor authentication service for third-party websites.
