FIELD: engines and pumps.
SUBSTANCE: in a method of determining gasifier capacity a nozzle is used as a means for converting aerodynamic drag, nozzle thrust and stagnation temperature in front of the nozzle are used as energy parameteres, wherein the gasifier capacity is determined by the following formula: , where GA is air flow rate at the gasifier inlet, GF is fuel consumption in combustion chamber, R is nozzle thrust, ϕc is nozzle speed ratio, TF* is gas temperature at the nozzle inlet which is determined according to the relative fuel consumption at the standard value of fuel calorific value and outside air temperature, KG is isentropic exponent, RG is gas constant, g - 9.81 m/s2.
EFFECT: invention enables to simplify the determination of gasifier capacity.
