FIELD: construction.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a plug connection (1) comprising the first plug connector (2), the second plug connector (7) which can be inserted into the first plug connector (2) and a retaining spring (13) attached to the first plug connector and engaged in the second plug connector (7) groove (21) when the second plug connector (7) is inserted. It is essential that the retaining spring (13) may move from a locked position, in which this retaining spring (13) is blocked to move radially outwards, to the unlocked position, wherein the locking spring (13) movement radially outwards is allowed, and that the first plug connector (2) as a selectively activated unlocking device (33), wherein the activated unlocking device (33) holds the retaining spring (13) in the unlocked position. Furthermore, a method for application of such plug connection (1) is specified. At that, plug connection (1) or, respectively, a method for application of this plug connection (1) is created, through which the connectivity of plug connectors (2, 7), which are only properly processed, with each other can be guaranteed in the most reliable, simple and cost-optimized manner.
