Paper sheet processing device includes an additional input unit configured to enter transaction information, a storage unit configured to store transaction information and historical data, including the result calculated by the recognizing and counting unit coupled to each other, a sorting pattern forming unit configured to generate sorting pattern corresponding to transactional information, for paper sheets to be stacked in a plurality of stack units, on the basis of historical data, and a control unit configured to control the transport unit in such way that the paper sheets captured by the capture unit are stacked in a plurality of stack units according to a sorting pattern.
EFFECT: ability to handle paper sheets which can generate a sorting pattern that corresponds to the content of paper sheets which have been provided by each customer, without any individual tuning operation by the operator.
