SUBSTANCE: in the method of context sensing, it is determined whether the sensor data obtained by means of a plurality of sensors exceed the predetermined threshold. If the sensor data exceed the threshold, the sampling frequency of any of the plurality of sensors for obtaining the context data corresponding to the computing device is increased. The context data are analyzed for classifying the computing device context and determining significant context data and insignificant context data, and the insignificant context data are discarded. The context sensing procedure is carried out via the discharge mechanism by means of analyzing the significant context data for classifying the computing device context.

EFFECT: reducing the power consumption of the computing device.
