FIELD: electricity.
SUBSTANCE: energy storage unit comprises a bearing arrangement, a vacuumized housing, a flywheel in the shape of a vertical cylindrical tubular rotor with a motor-generator with a stator and a driving disk. A magnetic system comprising a magnet and pole extensions, planar surfaces of which are parallel to the planar surfaces flat ends, was added. The pole extensions were installed with the gaps among them and the flywheel flat ends.
EFFECT: stored energy increase due to the storage of not only mechanical, but also induction energy.
