FIELD: heating.
SUBSTANCE: device (sensor) to determine the period of the drying process of a granular product is arranged directly in the bulk material and consists of two electrodes: lower - solid and upper - mesh, connected with one another by dielectric supports and connected to a measuring unit that displays changes in electrical resistance material to be dried . Moments of sharp change of the electric resistance of the granular product are the transition points in one period of drying and other signal parameter for correction of drying regimes. Schedule of resistance changes, built on the basis of the received data is indirectly drying curve, illustrates the transition point of the drying period to another and will change the drying program, reduce the temperature and prevent overheating of the granular material.
EFFECT: invention will allow us to monitor changes in the material moisture by measuring its electrical resistance and regulate the process of drying parameters for vacuum drying plants.
