FIELD: agriculture.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the automation of the drying process of grain and can be used in agriculture when drying capillary-porous colloidal materials in dryers of a high-temperature. Method of automating the control of the drying exposure of grain in dryers of a high temperature, that is periodically approximated by a third-degree polynomial, data from temperature sensors installed along the entire length of the drying chamber, there is a derivative function of the second order and a critical point of the second order is determined in order to obtain data on the location of the grain having the conditioned moisture, and comparing the result with the maximum grain path length along the drying chamber. Besides, a device for method implementation is described. To operate the automation system, temperature sensors are used to monitor the temperature change of the grain along its path through the drying chamber.
EFFECT: invention makes it possible to provide high-quality drying, due to the absence of the possibility of grain overheating during drying, and also leads to the saving of energy resources as a result of excluding the possibility of energy overconsumption from over-drying or incompletely drying of grain material.
