FIELD: measuring equipment.

SUBSTANCE: method of measuring the velocity field in the gas and condensed media, in which the structured probing field in the testing medium is formed as the parallel light planes at the wave lengths, corresponding to the colour sensitivity of the photomatrix pixels, moving in these planes. The images of the light planes are simultaneously formed on the photomatrix in the telecentric projection. The emulation of dynamic spatial filtering is performed on the pixels, which light sensitivity matches the wave length of the corresponding light plane. Correlation functions of light planes pairwise images are obtained. The field of velocity components normal to the light planes is defined as the spatial distribution of the pairwise distance between the light planes to the intervals between the extreme values ratio in the corresponding correlation functions.

EFFECT: obtaining the information on the spatial particles velocity field in the testing medium.
