FIELD: image forming devices.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to autostereoscopic video systems. Stereoscopic video system is characterized by using in a remote binocular filter a ferroelectric liquid crystal structure with a compensated helicoid and surface stabilization, optical characteristics of which are described by uniaxial refraction index ellipsoid, which orientation of the optical axis of which for two possible energy states of the ferroelectric structure is selected based on the orientation of the polariser of the liquid crystal screen of the stereoscopic display, which is a source of light streams of the aspect images. Ferroelectric liquid-crystal structure is a half-wave phase plate for all three spectral lines of radiation of the liquid crystal display backlight in a certain range of thickness values of the ferroelectric liquid crystal structure.
EFFECT: invention provides minimization of the number of reflections in the optical part of the remote binocular filter, reduced absorption of light energy at the edges of pulses of time selection of aspect images.
