FIELD: packaging industry.

SUBSTANCE: dispensing device includes retaining means, comprising a housing (2) for the products and a lid (6). The dispenser includes a flange (8) on the housing front so that the housing passes through a recess in the wall, e. g. the countertop top. The lid is mounted pivotably between an open position providing access to the internal volume, specified by the housing for the products to load a new stack of sheet products, and a closed position to ensure sheet product availability through dispensing aperture (7) in the lid one at a time from the products housing. Retaining means (15, 16) is in the form of the first and the second reed elements projecting from the inner surface of the housing in its interior volume (11). When the cover is open, the first and the second reed elements engage in the edge or boundary area of the front edge of sheet products placed closest to the dispensing aperture, for retaining at least a portion of the adhered sheet products, at a distance from the inner surface of the front lid. The dispensing device defines the internal volume in the form of a rectangular prism having two opposing longer side edges and two opposing shorter side edges. At least one reed disposed on the longer side edge of the inner volume and the longer sides of the internal volume correspond to the side edges of the stack with folds, the shorter sides of the internal volume correspond to the cut side edges of the stack.
