SUBSTANCE: method contains the stages at which configure the network configuration information for at least one of the streaming multimedia server by using the configuration module in the network device IPTV; receive the network configuration information, by using the network device control module IPTV; regulate the switching module by means of adjusting the switching module interface, based on the network configuration information by means of the control module; at that the network configuration information contains the information on the network mode and configuration information M of external interfaces in the list of the switching module external interfaces in network device IPTV, where M is the integer number, greater than or equal to 1. Adjustment of the switching module is implemented by adjusting attributes M of the external interfaces in the switching module, using the control module.
EFFECT: increase of the data transmission rate in the network.
