SUBSTANCE: invention relates to an electric cable stripping device comprising on the one hand at least one stripping beam (10, 11) emitted by a laser source (1) and an optical system (2-4) focused in a focal point (12, 13), which is called a cutting point, and on the other hand at least one receiving channel (6) for receiving an area of the stripped cable, each laser source includes a laser diode (1) emitting a stripping beam with a wavelength between 400 Nm and 460 Nm, preferably about 445 Nm.
EFFECT: availability of the device in a limited space and increased reliability of stripping cables of any diameter.
