FIELD: transportation.
SUBSTANCE: transportation system (30) comprises consecutive modules (M1-M4) forming a transport segment, each module comprising a control device associated with and controlling at least one zone (Z1-Z7). Each control device comprises a communication means for communicating with control devices included in adjacent modules. The control devices comprise means for manufacturing a mechanism for propagating and expanding the quantitative segment information from the two terminal zones of the transport segment, thus providing for each zone at least the first and/or second quantitative segment information elements (respectively propagating and expanding along or against the course of the movement and relating to all areas located closer to or further downstream of the subsection movement located before or after the said zone). Each control device comprises means for dynamically adapting the behavior of each zone controlled by it in accordance with the available quantitative segment information.
EFFECT: decentralization of the transportation system control while ensuring that each module adaptively registers information coming from the entire transportation section.
