SUBSTANCE: each pixel of the matrix substrate includes a first pixel electrode, a second pixel electrode, and a third pixel electrode. In addition, the pixel further includes a control circuit for acting on the second pixel electrode to change the voltage of the second pixel electrode. The third pixel electrode is connected to the second pixel electrode through the third transistor. In the two-dimensional display mode, the three pixel electrodes are in the display state of the corresponding two-dimensional images. In the three-dimensional display mode, the third pixel electrode is in the display state of the corresponding black images, and the first and second pixel electrodes are in the display state of the corresponding three-dimensional images.

EFFECT: reduces colour distortion in 2D and 3D display modes.
