FIELD: machine engineering.
SUBSTANCE: roll crusher (1) comprises two substantially parallel rotatable rolls (7, 8), a charging device (2) for loading material to the rolls, a bearing frame (11) and first and second sections (9, 10) of the roller frame. The rolls are separated by a gap. Each of the first and second roller frame sections is pivotally connected to the bearing frame. Each section is arranged to support one of the rollers in the bearings. Bearings are located at opposite ends of each roll. At least one balancing cylinder (17, 18) is mounted between one of the roller frame sections and the bearing frame for adjusting the rolls position in relation to the bearing frame. When at least one balancing drum is actuated, interconnected roller sections rotate relative to the frame of the bearing frame.
EFFECT: simple and reliable adjustment of the gap position in relation to the bearing frame.
