The search of the connection forwarding rule is performed in accordance with the data transmitted between the source server and the specified terminal during the use of unicast connections. A multicast connection is set up and it is designed to let the gateway receive multimedia content and used if the forwarding rule has been found. The multimedia content is accepted as a stream in accordance with the multicast connection. The multimedia content is transmitted to the specified terminal as a stream according to the unicast connection.

EFFECT: reduced consumption of network resources.
