SUBSTANCE: video data decoding method comprising the steps of: obtaining a reference image index and a current prediction element motion vector; generating a prediction block of a current prediction element using a reference image index and a motion vector; generating a quantized block by inverse scanning of components of quantized coefficients; generating a converted block by inverse quantization of a quantized block using a quantization parameter; generating a residual block by inverse conversion of a converted block; and generating a reconstructed pixels using a prediction block and a residual block, wherein prediction block prediction pixels are generated using an interpolating filter chosen based on a motion vector, wherein a quantization parameter is obtained using a differential quantization parameter and a quantization parameter predictor.
EFFECT: increased efficiency of video data decoding by selecting different filters according to position of prediction pixels.
