FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: solutions of the detectable substance are prepared at a concentration of 0.02 mg/ml and a reference material. As the solvent for the preparation of test solutions, 0.1 M sodium hydroxide solution is used. Sodium nitrate is used as a reference material. Optical density of the solutions of the substance to be determined and the comparison material is measured on a spectrophotometer with wavelength of 345 nm. Calculation of the results is carried out according to the formula , where Dx and DVos - the optical densities of the substance and sample being measured, respectively; ax and aVos - the exact weighed portions of the specified substance and the reference sample, respectively; V1 and V2 - volumes of the prepared solution of the substance being determined; V3 - the volume of an aliquot of the substance to be determined; - volume of the prepared solution of the reference sample; 100 - coefficient for conversion to percentages; W is the moisture content %; 0.0208 is the conversion factor for sodium nitrate in 0.1M sodium hydroxide solution.
EFFECT: use of the method makes it possible to determine with high accuracy the phenazepam in the samples under study.
