FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: method can be used for recycling spent solutions of anodic oxidation of aluminium and its alloys, for utilisation of spent iron and steel etching solutions, and also for the production of the chemical product - iron oxalate dihydrate (+2). To prepare ferric oxalate dihydrate (+2), a reaction aqueous solution containing iron (+2) and oxalate is prepared, the solution is made from industrial waste liquid: spent anodic oxidation solution of aluminium and its alloys, spent oxalate iron solution, spent iron solution, waste steel etching solution in mineral acid.
EFFECT: method allows to reduce the cost price of iron oxalate dihydrate, used for the production of cathode material for lithium-ion batteries, highly dispersed iron powders, iron oxides, ferritic materials, catalysts for the synthesis of organic substances, and other practically important chemical products.
