FIELD: oil and gas industry.
SUBSTANCE: method for producing light hydrocarbons by exposing the oil by ionizing radiation, saturating it with gaseous alkanes or hydrogen with constant removal of the resulting products from irradiation zone, such as residual heavy parafinonaphthenic fractions, is described. Oil is preliminarily subjected to heating and mechanochemical treatment, at which unsaturated hydrocarbons with double bonds are formed, oil and hydrogen-containing gas are introduced into reactor, subjected to treatment with ionising radiation with energy from 2 to 5 MeV, and the resulting residual heavy parafinonaphthenic fractions are recycled and diverted to mechanochemical reactor.
EFFECT: production of liquid light hydrocarbons from oil or residual oil fractions with reduced energy consumption.
