FIELD: construction.
SUBSTANCE: basis of the method is creation of a material structure with spherical, closed and isolated pores. Basing on the sum of the raw ceramic mass and polymer particles the raw ceramic mixture is added with spherical polymer particles from 0.5 to 70 wt % and with a diameter of 5 micron to 3 mm. The spherical polymer particles are composed of a polymer with a decomposition temperature below 280°C. The raw ceramic mixture contains less than 10 wt % of ceramic particles which are greater than 0.6 mm. The raw ceramic mixture is processed into a ceramic material when it is cast into a mould, then dried, calcined and burnt. The pore diameter is purposefully controlled by applying polymer particles, preferably polymethyl methacrylates.
EFFECT: method allows producing ceramic materials, partly with substantially reduced specific weight, improved corrosion resistance when compared to the state of art, better mechanical strength At the same time the specific system of closed pores provides for reducing the thermal conductivity of ceramic materials.
