FIELD: construction.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to synthetic cement which comprises a monofunctional monomer having a low viscosity, a dicyclopentadienyl fragment having pendant groups susceptible to free radical interaction, 1,3-butyleneglycolldimethacrylate, an unsaturated styrene block-copolymer, and a peroxide curative. Additionally it may comprise weightings depending on the borehole conditions, that is well known to experts in said field. Other optional components, such as hydrocarbon-based drilling mud, suspending agents, portland cement, acrylates and methacrylates, solidification-retarding additives and clays, can optionally be embedded into the synthetic cement. The synthetic cement is activated, for example, by means of heat, and it can be produced so that it cured within a certain time span, e.g., for 4 hours, so that it can be pumped so long as there is a necessity, and that it cured afterwards in order to seal the borehole in the desired way.
EFFECT: increasing strength, crack resistance, resistance to high temperatures.
