SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to drilling and cement solutions used in wells and similar structures for mining, for civil engineering and construction. Powdered additive for solution for inhibition of increase of solution viscosity and solution dehydration at high temperatures includes polymer of vinyl alcohol characterized by: solubility of 25 % or less when exposed to hot water at temperature of 60 °C for 3 hours; saponification degree of at least 99.5 mol %; medium degree of polymerisation, making from 1500 to 4500; content of 1,2-glycol bonds making 1.8 mol % or less. Powdered additive is able to pass through a sieve, in which the nominal size of mesh holes is 1.00 mm.
EFFECT: technical result is inhibition of increase in solution viscosity and solution dehydration at high temperatures.
