FIELD: machine engineering.
SUBSTANCE: contact-separation element includes a housing, a gas-liquid flow swirler, a film separator, a liquid supply pipe, an annular gap formed in the wall of the housing for discharging the separated liquid, and a displacer. The annular gap is located in the upper part of the housing between the liquid supply tube and the foil spacer. A separating nozzle is installed outside the annular gap.
EFFECT: increasing the efficiency and reliability of separation and mass exchange equipment, reduction of secondary liquid carryover, reduction of weight and size characteristics and reduction of metal consumption of the equipment used.
