FIELD: cleaning of gas. SUBSTANCE: centrifugal recycle separator has housing 1 with branch pipe 2 for entrance of gas-liquid mixture and gas-liquid exit branch pipes 3 and 4. Swirler 5 is disposed in inlet end of separating member and is provided with two branch pipes 6 axially aligned with branch pipes 2 and 3. First annular opening 8 and second annular opening 5 are made in separating member wall. Flow displacing member 10 formed as part of sphere is mounted in axial zone of separation branch pipe 6 behind gas recycle channel 7. Edges defining swirling opening 8 are provided with rims. Rim 12 of branch pipe 6 at the side adjacent to swirler 5 has diameter less than diameter of rim 11 of branch pipe 6 at the side adjacent to channel 7. EFFECT: increased efficiency of separator by reduced secondary entrainment. 3 cl, 3 dwg
