SUBSTANCE: high-rise construction (1) for growing crops in trays is equipped with at least one trays movement conveyor system. The system (7, 7', 7'') includes a plurality of conditionally horizontal belt sections (14), each of which having a length axis (15). The belt sections (14) are fixed on the intermediate floors (3) of the construction structure (2). The belt sections are placed one above another in parallel vertical rows. The system (7, 7', 7'') also includes tray conveying means (8) having the length axis corresponding to the length axis (15) of the belt sections. The length axis of each tray is substantially perpendicular to the length axis of the belt sections. The system (7, 7', 7'') includes a means for connecting the belts (18). It connects one belt section (14) with another belt section (14) arranged on one or more levels below, for moving the trays (8) at least partially under the action of gravity force along the length axis (19) of the means for connecting the belts (18). The length axis of each tray is parallel to the length axis of the means for connecting the belts.
EFFECT: flexible transporting of a large number of seedlings and agricultural crops, including that in the vertical direction, is provided.
