FIELD: transport.
SUBSTANCE: proposed device comprises two conveyors aligned with appropriate runners of tray feed to thermal sealing tool and two transfer mechanisms. Every of the latter is designed to carry multiple trays, both in sets and individually, from conveyors to said thermal sealing tool. Said tool comprises multiple separate heaters aligned with appropriate tray therein. Besides, this device comprises control means to define passage of tray and no-activation state of the heater aligned with the position of fed tray in tool. Method of tray sealing is implemented with the help of above described device.
EFFECT: higher efficiency, expanded range of sealed products.
