SUBSTANCE: ram holding device comprises a ram holder having an axial centerline and designed to receive the clamping ram, and clamping jaw or slide, wherein a ram holder is provided. The ram holder is designed with at least one conical surface complementary adjacent to the conical surface on the clamping jaw or on the slide. The complementary adjacent conical surfaces are arranged to limit the axial movement of the ram holder.
EFFECT: improved resistance of the contact under load and reduction of stress concentration in the clamping parts of the device.
