FIELD: technological processes.
SUBSTANCE: method of using a monitoring system to maintain a volume of fluid for performing re-treatment of instruments in a reservoir comprises the steps of applying a quantity of fluid for re-treatment to a reservoir; the amount of fluid in the reservoir is measured; it is determined whether the amount of the fluid is less than a predetermined amount; a filling piston pump is operated to supply fluid to the reservoir if its amount is less than the predetermined value; the amount of fluid is controlled as the filling piston pump works; it is determined whether the amount of fluid has increased by make-up volume; the signal is transmitted if the amount of the fluid is not increased correspondingly.
EFFECT: increased efficiency of maintaining the amount of fluid in the reservoir at a given level.
