SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to the reprocessing, cleaning, sterilization and/or disinfection of medical instruments. Reprocessor of a medical cleaning instrument is presented, comprising: chamber for receiving a medical instrument; feed connector designed for hydraulic connection with the passage; pump for compressing a fluid for reprocessing and supplying a fluid for reprocessing to said supply connector, pump comprising an inlet and an outlet; overpressure sensor installed to detect an overpressure of the fluid for re-treatment flowing from said pump outlet; an flow control system comprising a valve in fluid communication with said supply connector for controlling the flow rate of the fluid to be reprocessed in the passage, valve comprising an inlet and an outlet; a differential pressure sensor designed to detect a differential pressure in a fluid for reprocessing on opposite sides of a fixed orifice and located downstream of the overpressure sensor and upstream along the outlet of the valve; and processor, signal connected to said differential pressure sensor, said processor is designed to analyze said flow rate based on said pressure drop and to command the valve to perform at least one of the following actions: at least partial closing or at least partial opening. Method of controlling the flow of fluid for reprocessing in an instrument containing a channel is also described.
