FIELD: packaging industry.
SUBSTANCE: transport device for containers (2) has a transport star (3) rotatably mounted in the hollow column (4) of the frame (5) of the machine and having several receiving elements (6) for the containers along its perimetre. The transport star (3) consists of two elements (9, 10), where the first element (9) forms the first side surface (6.1) and the second element (10) forms the second side surface (6.2) of the receiving elements (6) for the containers and that provide harmonization of the receiving elements (6) for the containers of various diameters by adjusting rotation around the devices axis (VA). During container transportation (2) two elements (9, 10) of the transport star are mounted with possibility to drive simultaneously and in the same direction, and retaining the adjusted angular displacement. Adjusting the angular displacement and/or maintaining the adjusted angular displacement is enabled with bearings, clutches and actuators which are located entirely in the column (4) of the machine frame (5) with protection against the outdoor environment.
EFFECT: improved reliability of the device, simplified cleaning.
