FIELD: processing and preserving of wood.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to woodworking industry, in particular, to log processing lines. Line comprises serially installed conveyor, shifting device made with possibility of rotation and centring of logs, device for planing of surfaces of root part, device for sawing of logs in axial direction and installation for sorting of lumber produced from middle part of logs, and lumber produced from side parts of logs. Wood sorting plant additionally comprises, on its two sides, a first automatic lumber supply device made from the middle part of the logs, and second device for automatic supply of lumber obtained from side parts of logs. In the place of exit from the first and second automatic feed devices there installed are devices for repeated lumber production sawing.

EFFECT: simplified line design, increased efficiency of lumber production.
