EXTRUDED GRAIN MIXTURE WITH PAUNCH CONTENT FOR SHEEP FATTENING Russian patent published in 2017 - IPC A23K40/25 A23K10/30 A23K10/26

Abstract RU 2623482 C1

FIELD: agriculture.

SUBSTANCE: extruded dry fodder for sheep is obtained by the method comprising preparing the dry mixture based on grain crops, moistening and extruding the mixture, pushing the mixture through the die and extruding the expanded fodder in the form of a strap. When preparing the initial mixture, paunch content is additionally used as an additive in the amount of 10 wt %. As the initial ingredients, barley, corn, oats, wheat, sunflower meal, paunch content and a mineral feeding are used. Wherein the extrusion process is carried out in the following way: the raw material - the grain mixture with paunch content - is soaked with water to the humidity of 14%, and then the obtained wet raw material is poured into the hopper by hand, evenly distributing the load by current; the extruder is switched on, and at the temperature of 70-80°C feeding the initial raw material is opened through the dosing system to the receiving bushing; when moving through the screw channel, passing through annular gaps, the product is ground, mixed and subjected to mechanical and barothermal influence at 50 atm and 100-140°C. From the extruder through the die, the expanded, porous dry fodder in the form of a strap or a strand with the diameter of 30 mm, with the bulk density of 100-120 g/dm3 and the humidity of 7-9%, is extruded. The time of passing the fodder mixture through the extruder is less than 30 seconds, and it is under the influence of the maximum temperature and pressure only 8-11 seconds. The finished product has the uniform consistency and structure, with complex structural and mechanical and chemical changes taking place; In the extrusion process, starch decomposes into simple sugars, harmful microflora is disinfected. In the process of compressing and heating the feed mixture and at the exit from the die, homogenization and structural changes in the fodder nutrients take place.

EFFECT: increasing the usefulness and digestibility of the ration nutrients.
