FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: retropubic loop urethropexy is performed with a tape for sling operations. The tapes are located on the anterior abdominal wall aponeurosis towards each other. Excess tape is cut by the skin level and left free in the subcutaneous tissue of the suprapubic region. When a relapse occurs, the ends of the tape are isolated and removed to and removed into the opposite cutaneous incisions. Holes in the aponeurosis are expanded until the tape appears to move. Tape re-tension and fixation is performed.
EFFECT: method allows to exclude repeated, full operation of implanting a new tape for sling operations in case of urinary incontinence relapse, reduces the risk of intra- and postoperative complications, risk of urethra perforation and erosion.
