SUBSTANCE: device contains the core, having the outer surface (7) to specify the shape of the pipe insulation section inner surface (1) to be produced, the curing agent to provide curing of the produced pipe insulation section (1), the folding facility to fold the mineral wool sheet (11) into mattress (12). On the outer surface (7) of the core (2), the first blade (4) is located, it is elongated in the direction of its central axis and in its radial direction. The device also contains the bending facilities for providing movement and bending of the mattress (12), made by folding along and applying to the outer surface (7) of the core and to each main face of the first blade (4) along at least the part of the outer surface length (7) of the core and each main face of the first blade (4).
