FIELD: engines and pumps.
SUBSTANCE: fan valve unit contains a bypass duct body with a ring valve, installed on it and designed to move axially, and a ring valve displacement mechanism with an actuator, positioned above the bypass duct body. The ring valve is designed as a profiled shell and system of stiffening ribs inside it. The ring valve displacement mechanism contains two thrusts with a common rotary axis, one of which is connected to the ring valve, and the other to the drive. The thrust connected to the ring valve and its attachment to the last item are placed inside the ring valve and the rotary axis runs through the corresponding holes in the bypass duct channel and valve ring, while the ring valve is designed for translational-rotational movement.
EFFECT: invention allows simplifying the design of the valve unit rotating mechanism, reducing the mass of the valve unit and increasing its resource and reliability, as well as maintaining the minimum hydraulic resistance to the air flow in the duct and minimizing air leakage through gaps.
