FIELD: convertiplanes with main rotors.
SUBSTANCE: proposed helicopter-convertiplane is provided with main rotor driven from power plant which forms single unit including engine, reduction gear and fan. Fan operates in two modes: at reduced number of revolutions and at nominal revolutions. Arranged in tail fuselage is swivel hub-nozzle with inner T-shaped passage; this hub-nozzle is communicated with air duct of fan. In helicopter mode of flight, fan feeds air to side port at definite position of hub-nozzle for forming counter-thrust relative to torque of main rotor. During high-speed horizontal flight, air from fan escapes from rear port of tail fuselage through hub-nozzle, thus forming horizontal thrust.
EFFECT: increased speed of horizontal flight; simplified construction; enhanced reliability of horizontal thrust system.
