FIELD: railway transport.
SUBSTANCE: proposed power plant of gas-turbine locomotive contains three-shaft double-flow gas-turbine engine with first, second and third stages with compressors of first, second and third stages, respectively, connected by inner, middle and outer shafts with turbines of low, medium and high pressure, and fourth, free turbine, gas-dynamically coupled with three-shaft double-flow gas-turbine engine connected, in its turn, with electric generator. Engine is provided with system to adjust radial clearance and is installed in container. Container is furnished with cooling system including pipeline to take off air from space after first step of first stage with air flow regulator and air temperature transmitter connected by electric circuit with control unit.
EFFECT: facilitated starting and increased economy.
