SUBSTANCE: power plant of gas-turbine locomotive contains gas-turbine engine at output of which free turbine is mounted and at its output, exhaust device is installed. Gas-turbine engine and free turbine are installed on frame in container provided with cooling system combined with system to adjust radial clearances in gas-turbine engine and/or free turbine, and with fire-fighting system.
EFFECT: improved starting, increased economy of gas turbine locomotive.
