FIELD: lighting.

SUBSTANCE: light conducting system for using underground contains several cables, which at their ends, at the cable housing, have the element compensating the tension, and contains at least one fiber, having at its ends plug-in connector, respectively. For connecting two cables the protective housing closed with the cover is provided, where both cables may be inserted by its plug-in connectors. The cover is mounted for tilting and closing by means of locking devices, and elements, compensating the tension, for both cables are fixed in the protective housing with positive-fit connection and without the possibility to rotate the cable, when the cover is closing. Also declared the cable reel for the light conducting system, including the reel structure, which has not circular cross section and, in particular, it is of oval shape, wherein the cable reel is surrounded by the packaging, the base area of which corresponds to the full size, half or fourth part of the Europallet base area.

EFFECT: provision of the possibility of creating the light conducting system for using underground, which can be used to reduce the cable length.
