FIELD: measuring equipment.
SUBSTANCE: sample is placed in the sample container, which provides, at least, two radiation paths of different lengths through the sample container, and is subsequently irradiated with electromagnetic radiation, such as X-rays. The radiation amount that passes through the sample is detected, and absorptivity is determined based on the detected radiation. During radiation, the sample container is moved relative to the radiation source and the detector, so that absorptivity observation is obtained at different path lengths. The regression line is determined by the values of the absorptivity and the path lengths, so that a regression line slope is made, and the concentration of a particular analyte is determined on the basis of this slope.
EFFECT: providing the ability to evaluate the analyte concentration in the sample material quickly and easily.
