FIELD: metallurgy.

SUBSTANCE: method of manufacturing the vanadium alloys blanks involves the ingot homogenization, the formation of the blank by heating and extruding the ingot on the press, followed by annealing, the blank depositing at the press into a rod, with further recrystallization annealing at the temperature of 950-1100°C, the stabilizing annealing in the vacuum, the thermomechanical processing by deformation and annealing. The ingot homogenization is carried out at the temperature of 1300°C during 8 hours, stabilizing annealing in the vacuum is carried out at the temperature of 1400°C for 1 hour. The thermomechanical processing is carried out in three cycles by deformation with rolling εand drafting = 30-50% at the room temperature and annealing at the temperature of 450-700°C for 1 hour, and after the thermomechanical treatment provide the stabilizing annealing in the vacuum at the temperature of 1000°C during 1 hour, after which the diffusion alloying with oxygen is carried out by the annealing in the air at the temperature of not more than 700°C for the time required to form the oxide film V2O5, further perform the stabilizing annealing in the vacuum with gradual temperature rise from 600°C up to 1100°C, the diffusion alloying with oxygen by the heat treatment of the blanks in the air at the temperature of not more than 700°C and the final stabilizing annealing in the vacuum with the gradual increase of the temperature from 600°C up to 1100°C.

EFFECT: manufactured alloys are characterized by high strength values at the high temperatures.
